Tales of America's Founding Mothers

Most of us have heard of America's Founding Fathers. But what about all the women who were around at the birth of our nation? In this issue of APPLESEEDS readers will meet many amazing women who are remembered for their courage, cunning, and creativity. These women solved problems men couldn't and helped forge our nation. They were spies and soldiers, boycotters and horse riders, farmers, poets and slaves.
