ETRURIA AND THE ETRUSCANS

Sure you've heard of Roman gladiators and Roman togas! But, ever wonder if the Romans invented both? Well, they didn't. No, they borrowed the idea from their neighbors to the north - the Etruscans. Join DIG as we travel just north of Rome to a few ancient haunts. We'll climb down a long flight of stairs to enter tombs whose walls tell an amazing story. We'll also check out a few teeth and learn of an amazing custom - all for the sake of beauty. You'll have a chance to meet a few Etruscans face-to-face. You might want to adopt a few of their fashion styles - but certainly not the poses their artists drew.
