GREECE, CHILDREN OF ANCIENT
Think of ancient Greece, and what comes to mind? Great columned temples, mighty gods and goddesses, a terrible war with its arch enemy Troy, the first steps to democracy? Yes, the answers are all valid, but not one tells us anything about what is was like to grow up in ancient Greece. The topic doesn't seem to be one authors or sculptors considered worth much of their time. But, look a little more closely at what the ancients left us. There are clues everywhere. Join us as we check some well-known - and not so well-known - finds. They'll take us into the classroom, the sports stadium, and the nursery. We'll even get a close-up view of a house that imitates the style and design an ancient Greek would call home. Join us for an adventure that will literally erase the years between "then" and "now."
