TOOLS

Here's an issue that's sure to please! We all use tools, every day, in fact. But, have you ever thought about what our ancestors used for tools? Well, here's your chance to find out. Take your camera and it's off to Easter Island to prove a theory as to how the islanders moved those huge stone " creatures." Then, it's to South America where we'll look for clues about the Inca and the tools they used to build their lofty walls. Back in the States, we'll watch as an Indian village is reconstructed, using replica tools. Then, it's artifact-check time, and we have quite an array for you: perforated antler batons, a revolutionary iron plow, and a digging stick. You won't need hard hats here, but make sure your boots are have thick soles.
