Palestinians have lived in the Middle East for thousands of years. They have a rich cultural history that includes beautiful embroidery, delicious food, and festive dances. Although most are Muslim, a small minority practice Christianity. Discover how Palestinians of all religious backgrounds live and worship. Meet several Palestinians, including a woman who founded an orphanage and members of a dance troupe that grew out of the harsh conditions of a refugee camp. Palestinians and Israelis have been involved in a conflict for many years. The goal of this issue is not to explain this conflict or take sides. The conflict is addressed, but only to illustrate how it has affected the culture and way of life.
