PYRAMIDS, SCIENCE OF

Few monuments of the ancient world hold as much wonder and romance as the pyramids of Egypt. But even more sophisticated pyramids exist elsewhere in the world. The largest in the Qin Chuan plains of Central China is over twice as high as the grand pyramid at Giza! Those at Teotihuacan, Mexico and the many Mayan ruins in Central America are also impressive. We'll look at the less known pyramids, and at the scientists and the technology that they are using to explore these puzzling burial mounds.
