HARLEM RENAISSANCE

Welcome to Harlem, the largest black urban community in the country. It was also the spiritual center of the Harlem Renaissance, a 1920’s artistic movement made up of artists interested in rediscovering their African roots and culture, and in understanding their place in American society. Join Cobblestone for a spirited look at this resurgence and the enormous body of enriching and inspiring art it produced.
